We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead critical functions across transport, logistics, and business development. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands‑on expertise in compliance, safety, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Operations & Planning
- Direct bulk and general transport operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.
- Lead and motivate teams to deliver on performance targets.
- Enforce company policies and take corrective action when required.
Business Growth & Client Engagement
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build strong client relationships, present service offerings, and secure long‑term contracts.
Transport & Logistics Oversight
- Ensure the company fleet is fully operational and well maintained.
- Develop and monitor maintenance schedules, conduct site inspections, and perform spot checks.
- Guarantee strict compliance with RTA regulations, SQAS standards, and health & safety practices.
Leadership & Development
- Support the General Manager in sales and business expansion.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to handle chemical and petroleum products safely.
- Drive ERP process mapping and IT infrastructure improvements.
- Manage P&L, conduct financial analysis, and implement structured reporting systems.
