General Accountant

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Accountant to join our growing organization. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where you will oversee the complete accounting cycle, including costing and preparation of financial reports.

Key Duties

• Record and analyze asset, liability, and capital account entries.
• Enter and maintain accurate financial transaction details.
• Provide recommendations for financial decisions through analysis of accounting options.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial summaries.
• Verify and substantiate transactions by auditing supporting documents.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
• Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in accounts.
• Safeguard financial data by performing database backups.
• Ensure compliance with internal control standards to maintain financial security.
• Process payments by checking documentation and initiating disbursements.

Candidate Profile

• Language: Strong command of English (spoken and written), with proven ability to manage accounts in English.
• Age: Between 30 and 35 years.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in accounting, including:
  • Full accounts cycle management
  • Costing expertise
  • Preparation of financial statements and balance sheets
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (English section).
• Additional: Valid driver’s license preferred, good conduct and behavior, non-smoker.
